Of used waterproof pan
Efforts for recycling
In line with the enforcement of the Plastic Resource Recycling Promotion Law, we have built a recovery system to ensure that more used waterproof pans are recycled as materials.Material recycling is a method of reusing polypropylene as polypropylene, which is an environment-friendly recycling technology that generates less energy and generates less CO2.
The main material of the waterproof pan is polypropylene.Polypropylene is mainly obtained by polymerizing (or copolymerizing with ethylene) propylene produced by a chemical reaction called cracking of naphtha obtained by refining crude oil.Polypropylene is classified as a relatively low-priced general-purpose resin, but among them, it has excellent strength, high heat resistance, chemical resistance, and low specific gravity. In addition, it has excellent water resistance and low hygroscopicity, making it ideal as a material for waterproof pans.
Waterproof pans made from precious fossil fuels generally end their life by remodeling. It is believed that most waterproof pans are used for thermal recycling (thermal recovery) by waste collectors.Thermal recovery is a method of using waste plastic as fuel for burning household waste including food waste, or utilizing the heat of waste plastic to effectively use it as heat energy for power generation and heated pools, but of course CO2 from combustion. And in some cases (inappropriate combustion conditions) it causes the generation of harmful substances.

Polypropylene is a material with excellent material recyclability among plastics. It has a long history of recycling and is already being used for various purposes.Material recycling is a method of reusing polypropylene as polypropylene, which is an environment-friendly recycling technology that generates less energy and generates less CO2.In addition, all waterproof pans are made of polypropylene (some products are ABS), which is also suitable for recycling.
